Their experiences prove the positive outcome that can result from involving people at every step of the process in their health care, and the benefits that come from open collaboration between patients and their carers. At WHO/Europe, this priority is a driving force in our work, and it is our goal to give a greater voice to those directly impacted by the health system. We hope to encourage policy-makers and health professionals to take the perspective of patients, seeing possibilities and potential through their eyes.
