Chicken 65 / Chicken varuval / Chicken fry is a spicy, deep-fried chicken dish originating from Chennai, India, as an entrée, or quick snack. Its one of the favorite street food for all.The flavor of the dish can be attributed to red chilies but the exact set of ingredients for the recipe can vary. It can be prepared using boneless or bone-in chicken and is usually served with onion and lemon garnish. Lets see below how to cook or make chicken 65

Ingredients :
Chicken (usually bone less / Kids prefer leg piece)
1 tsp of ginger garlic paste
Chicken 65 powder (Usually a combination of grinded dry red chili, black pepper, corn flour, garam masala, salt)
Curd 1tsp
Turmeric powder
Egg (optional)
Methods :
Mix Chicken 65 powder, ginger garlic paste, curd ,turmeric powder, curd and make it paste
Mix the above paste with chicken and marinate it for 15 to 30 mins
Add oil to the pan and heat the chicken pieces with lesser oil and medium flame
Don’t over fry it as it will become very hard
Just fry till it crispy outside and soft inside
Your Chicken 65 is ready
