Energy Bars

A deliciously simple way to start of the morning. Kids special Energy Bar recipes are rich in protein with the goodness of dates, seeds & nuts. The sweetness of honey and richness of ghee is going to give you boost every morning.

Ingredient Quantity

Flax Seeds ¼ Cup

Pumpkin seeds 1 Cup

Oats 1 Cup

Sesame seeds ½ Cup

Dates (Seedless) 1½ Cups

Honey 3 tbsp

Ghee 1 tbsp + for greasing

Assorted nuts chopped 1 tbsp

Raisins 1 tbsp

Water 2 Cups

Method

1. Heat a pan, add flax seeds and pumpkin seeds mix well and dry

roast for 2-3 min.

2. Add oats and sesame seeds, mix well and dry roast for another

1 min.

3. Remove in a blender and grind coarsely. Keep it aside.

4. Heat 2 cups of water in the same pan.

5. When water is boiling, add dates and cook till dates soft.

6. Add grinded mixture little at a time and mix well.

7. Add 1 tbsp of ghee, mix well and sauté for 1 min. or till mixture

is dry.

8. Add honey and mix well.

9. Grease the plate with ghee and pour the mixture on the plate.

10. Press evenly, Put chop nuts and raisins on top and cut into

the square shape and serve.
